population, age, gender, and geographical distribution of physicians,
nurses, midwives, dentists, pharmacists, laboratory workers, public health
workers, and health management & support workers where data are available.
Global burden of disease estimates for 2000,
2001, and 2002. Provides estimates of mortality, incidence, prevalence, YLL,
YLD and DALYs by age, sex and cause. Note that differences between estimates
for 2000, 2001 and 2002 may be due to improvements in data and methods and
do not provide estimates of trends over time.
