Agricultural Datasets from USDA Foreign Agricultural Services (FAS)

Data on commercial production, exports, for processing, fresh domestic consumption, imports, non-commercial production, production, total distribution, total supply, withdrawal from market by country and year for the following products: all commodities, coffee, cotton, dairy, fruits & vegetables, grains & pulses, juice, livestock, oilseeds, poultry, sugar, tobacco and tree nuts.

 

Agricultural Production, Supply and Distribution (PSD) Database (FAS)

Data on beginning stocks, production, imports, total supply, exports, domestic consumption, ending stocks and total distribution by country and year for the following products: almonds, animals, fresh apples, apple juice, asparagus, avocados, barley, citrus, coffee, corn, cotton, dairy, cherries, peaches & nectarines, plums & prunes, fresh grapefruit, grapefruit juice, grapes, kiwifruit, fresh lemons, lemon juice, macadamia, meal, meat, millet, mixed grain, oats, oils, oilseeds, fresh oranges, orange juice, pears, pecan, poultry, raisins, rice, rye, sorghum, strawberries, sugar, fresh tangerines, tangerine juice, tobacco, tomato paste, walnuts and wheat.

 

FAOSTAT Agricultural Database (FAO)

Requires free registration, limited access (4000 records). FAOSTAT contains data on agricultural production, trade, food aid shipments, consumption, food security, prices and resources. The links below take you directly to each section of FAOSTAT:

Producer and Consumer Support Estimates Data (OECD)

Provides detailed information on producer support estimates (PSE) and consumer support estimates (CSE) by OECD-country. These PSE/CSEs include the complete data series on PSE/CSEs, reference prices used, exchange rates used and complete documentation of definitions and sources provided on a country and commodity basis.

 

Standards and Trade Development Facility Database (WTO)

Provides information on Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) related technical assistance and capacity building projects. At present the period of coverage is 2001 to 2003. A search of the database can be performed by one of four STDF categories: food safety, plant health, animal health, and a general category, or by beneficiary country, donor country or agency.
